How is OT security different from traditional IT security?
OT security focuses on protecting industrial systems, control networks, operational assets, and critical infrastructure. Unlike IT environments, OT systems often prioritise safety, availability, and operational continuity above all else. Security controls must be implemented carefully to minimise disruption to production and operational processes.
Is SecurOT tied to a specific vendor or technology?
No. SecurOT is vendor-agnostic. We focus on achieving security outcomes rather than promoting a single product. This allows us to recommend the most appropriate combination of governance, services, and technologies to meet each organisation's risk, compliance, and operational requirements.
How can SecurOT help with compliance and risk reduction?
SecurOT helps organisations assess, prioritise, and address OT security risks while aligning with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This includes support for frameworks and obligations such as IEC 62443, SOCI Act requirements, Essential Eight, NIST, and other industry-specific compliance programs.
Does SecurOT work directly with end customers?

SecurOT is a partner-first Centre of Excellence. We work exclusively through our network of channel partners, system integrators, managed service providers, and security specialists.
